Mindteck successfully develops ZigBee™ specification compliant protocol stack for Freescale ZigBee Center of Excellence drives value and innovation

Bangalore, June 13, 2006: Mindteck (BSE: MDTK) announced the successful development of BeeStack for Freescale Semiconductor to be used with HCS08 microcontroller and the MC1319X series of RF data modems. This combination has gone through compliance testing with the ZigBee™ specification and is one of the certified platforms for use in ZigBee applications.

 

Mindteck's ZigBee Center of Excellence (CoE) is a one-stop-shop ZigBee solution center, providing product design, development, implementation, and deployment services to worldwide customers.

Freescale had earlier announced the availability of BeeKit in the Freescale Technology Forum held in Shanghai last month. BeeKit includes BeeStack and developer configuration tool that supports Freescale's platforms based on the HCS08 MCU.
